Teach YSR a lesson

The communist parties of the state organized ‘great protest’ against the state government yesterday in the Telangana region. This protest was mainly focused on the land allocation policies being followed by the Congress party ruling the state. The Congress party has promised to allot house sites for all the poor in the state before they were elected to power in the previous elections. However this promise was not fulfilled and since then the Communists have repeatedly fought on the same issue.
In yesterday’s protest, the Communists have criticized the Government for allocating hundreds of acres to the special economic zones and the Coastal corridor both of which favor the corporate sector of the state. They questioned the Government as to why it is not able to allocate a small house site for the needy when it is able to gather hundreds of acres for the corporates.
They called for a revolution against the Government and asked the people to vote against Congress in the next general elections. They then picketed the Collectorate along with hundreds of people and submitted a request to the District Collector to allocate 60 sq. yards to the poor people without a home.
